Advertising on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel on hups.com. The pixel only loads if you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner.
What we collect: The pages you visit, when you submit a form, and technical data such as IP address, browser and device. When you submit a form, the pixel can also send your email address, phone number and name to Meta. The pixel hashes these details first, which turns them into a code. Meta uses the code to match you to a Meta account.
Why: To measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform, and to show our ads to people who have visited our website.
Legal basis: Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time in our cookie settings.
Who is responsible: Hups AB and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers for collecting this data on our website and sending it to Meta. We have an agreement with Meta about our responsibilities (Meta’s Controller Addendum). Meta alone is responsible for how it uses the data after it receives it. Transfers outside the EEA: Meta may transfer the data to the United States. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Who receives the data
HubSpot, Google and Vimeo receive data from these cookies. We store our HubSpot data in HubSpot's EU data center. Google and Vimeo may process data in Euopre and USA. They do this under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses: confirm. Meta receives data from marketing cookies. Meta may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
